Children remember how a dental visit feels
I'm Dr. Jana Slim, a general dentist in Beirut. I see children and adults, and I take every visit one calm step at a time.
A calm start to every visit
I earn a child's cooperation before I start any treatment. We take the visit gradually, I explain what I'm doing as I go, and parents stay informed so care carries on at home. Adults get the same unhurried attention.
I first saw dentistry from the assistant's chair, working summers in a private clinic from 2014, and I tutored students through university. Both taught me to explain things simply, which matters most with a nervous child.

Questions parents ask
What happens at a first visit?
We talk first, then I take a short, gentle look. If that is all your child is ready for, that's fine: the rest can wait for the next visit.
My child is nervous. What can I expect?
Tell me beforehand what worries them. We go slowly, I explain what I'm doing as I do it, and you stay informed throughout. Often that is enough to complete fillings, extractions and preventive care in the chair.
How often should my child visit?
Usually about every six months. I'll suggest what suits your child.
Do you treat adults too?
Yes. I treat adults and children: preventive, restorative, whitening, root canal and prosthodontic care.
How do I book?
Message me on WhatsApp or call. Tell me which clinic suits you and we'll find a time.
